Hi, my name is Jessika Oneid.
I’m a registered social worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult moments. My background includes working with people navigating mental health challenges, substance use, housing instability, involvement with the legal system, and grief. I lead with empathy and strongly believe in the acceptance of all individuals, no matter their circumstances.Whether you're seeking support for emotional healing, personal growth, or navigating complex life changes, I offer a grounded, empathetic space where your story is honoured and your goals are centered.
GRIEF
I'm pursuing certification as a death doula, driven by a continued desire to support and hold space for individuals and families navigating the complexities of grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions.Grief is a natural and profound response to loss, and it can manifest in countless ways. Whether you're grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a significant relationship, the loss of a job, or coming to terms with your own terminal illness, the experience of grief is personal. There's no right or wrong way to feel. It's common to experience a wide range of emotions, from anger and sorrow to confusion, numbness, or even moments of clarity. Your grief is valid, and you don't have to navigate it alone.I offer therapy to support individuals and families navigating these human experiences, creating a space to process emotions, build insight, and move through grief in a way that feels true to you.


SERVICES
I offer individual and relational counselling that is rooted in a client- and family-centred approach, where your goals, values, and lived experiences guide the direction of our work together.
