JESSIKA ONEID

MSW, RSW

Imagine a place where you can truly let your guard down. That's what I strive to create: a confidential, non-judgmental space where you're free to explore what's on your mind and know you'll be heard, accepted, and understood, exactly as you are.

ABOUT

Hi there, my name is Jessika Oneid and I’m a Registered Social Worker. My background spans a wide range of areas, including mental health, substance use, housing instability, navigating social service systems, and the complexities of grief.I work with adults, young people and families across Ottawa and beyond. I lead with empathy and a strong belief in the acceptance of all individuals, no matter their circumstances. My style is integrative, collaborative, and rooted in trauma-informed practice. While I draw from multiple approaches—including DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Transactional Analysis, Strength Based and Narrative—my priority is always relationship first: building real therapeutic connection and tailoring support to fit each individual or family.Whatever you're facing I offer a grounded, empathetic space where your story is honoured and your goals are always the focus.

GRIEF

I'm pursuing certification as a death doula, driven by a continued desire to support and hold space for individuals and families navigating the complexities of grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions.Grief is a natural and profound response to loss, and it can manifest in countless ways. Whether you're grieving the death of a loved one, or coming to terms with your own terminal illness, the experience of grief is personal. There's no right or wrong way to feel. It's common to experience a wide range of emotions, from anger and sorrow to confusion, numbness, or even moments of clarity. Your grief is valid and you don't have to navigate it alone.I offer counselling to support individuals and families navigating these human experiences, creating a space to process emotions, build insight, and move with grief in a way that feels true to you.
